The beautification Committee has been working on a design of a new Cando sign to replace the current one on HWY’s 281 and 17. More infromation on this sign will be posted soon.
The Cando Arts Council has announced that a North Dakota author will be visiting Cando on April 24, 2008. Roxanne Henke from Wishek, ND will be at Audi (downstairs) at 6:30 P. M. on that date. She will give a presentation and snacks will be served. Roxanne has written several books: ” After Anne”, “Finding Ruth”, “Becoming Olivia”, “Always Jan”, “With Love, Libby”, “The Secret of Us” and “Learning to Fly”. All of these books are at the Cando Community Library except the last one. We hope to be getting that before Roxanne comes to Cando. Save the Date!
