Congratulations Cando!!! A library is a wonderful asset to a community. We in Rutland wish we had one & we hope to find a spot for one in the future. Your citizens can be commended for voting to increase the mill levy so that your library can stay open.

Sharing Is Giving is a great Green way to slow down waste and create a community atmosphere of helping out ones neighbors.

Your family reading night was a great idea. I enjoy reading about other communities and getting alot of good ideas. We’re lucky to have a librarian (Vivian Miller) in Bowdon who has a children’s hour a few times each week. It’s really helpful when there isn’t a school in town anymore. I’m thankful for the city council who purchased the building when the school closed and to the Bowdon Centennial Museum who moved its library to the school building where it provides continual access to the community. Thank you Experience Works for our librarian and Laurel Jones for your vision in remodeling!!!!!!!!!!!

Are there some of these classes that are offered over the IVN Video Conferencing system? Cando has a unit in the Courthouse. Perhaps you could investigate the possibility of using it. Cindy Schaefer at 701-968-4361 is the contact person.
